As people, we rarely doubt ourselves, as most of our daily routines and rituals have been in our community for centuries. Some of our core values are loyalty, tradition, and hard work. Because of the mostly male population, there is a lot of testosteron. To prevent any issues and to fulfil the need for activity and success, there are a lot of traditional games, sports and rituals. Although we all strive for being the best, there are no grudges when one person has won over the other, as we value our community more than competition. In the end we are all hard-working people.

In our educational system we abide by the traditional ways. We teach a lot about nature and how to respect it, and our religion Virgunung also plays a big part in raising our children. At the end of their school education, we send our males out into the nature for a month, to survive without the community we all rely on. When they come back they have proved to be strong and are then viewed as adults. This is proved in a ritual performed by the great Tuhan Anda.

Few people do not believe in our god Gunung, and they do not benefit from the assets of our community.
